We Can Face It Community

As well as raising awareness and acceptance of UFH, the We Can Face It campaign also hopes to create a supportive community of like-minded women and to help women to live life to the full.

Through the campaign website, we hope to build a community which can help women with unwanted facial hair to find and give each other support.

The need for support and opportunities for women to talk bout how they feel has been highlighted by the results of the 1,000 Women’s Survey, which showed that it is difficult for women to find support, even from close family and friends:

  • More than half of women said that they feel uncomfortable talking to their family3
  • More than two out of three women feel uncomfortable discussing their facial hair with their friends3

Over the coming months, we will be adding a series of personal video diaries from UK women who are currently recording their experiences, feelings and thoughts about living and coping with unwanted facial hair. Make sure you have registered for updates so that we can let you know when the first video diary is posted.
