The We Can Face It campaign was launched on June 2nd 2010 with the publication of a new research report highlighting the emotional and psychological impact of UFH.
The research report provides insights from 1,000 women from across the UK and highlights the impact of the condition on women’s lives and self-esteem as well as providing information and advice on talking more openly about the condition, tips on how to feel more confident and guidance on how to get help to treat and manage the condition.
The survey was developed with guidance from the campaign experts and was also shaped by one-to-one discussions with women with unwanted facial hair during two focus groups.
